This Privacy Policy explains how Quest collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information when you use the platform, sign up for gated or beta access, connect optional integrations, or contact the team for support.
By using Quest, you agree to the data practices described here and in our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information created through your use of the service, and information connected to third-party services you choose to use.
- Name, email address, date of birth, and profile details
- Photos, prompts, preferences, and onboarding inputs
- Messages, voice messages, and other content you choose to send
- Support requests and account-management communications
- Device, browser, IP, session, and usage information
- Likes, matches, conversation activity, and engagement signals
- Beta, gate, waitlist, referral, or affiliate intake information
- Subscription and billing details linked to your account
Payments: Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider used in the live deployment. We do not store your full card number on our own application servers.
2. How We Use Information
- Create and maintain accounts
- Run onboarding, discovery, matching, and messaging features
- Process subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, and billing support
- Deliver notifications, support responses, and service updates
- Operate beta, gate, referral, affiliate, and ambassador flows
- Detect fraud, abuse, spam, safety issues, and policy violations
- Improve platform quality, performance, and reliability
- Comply with legal obligations and protect users and the service
3. How We Share Information
We may share information in a limited set of situations:
- With other users when you choose to make profile information visible or send messages and media through the product
- With service providers that help operate hosting, authentication, billing, messaging, email, safety, and support workflows
- With payment providers such as Stripe for billing and refund handling
- When reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud review, safety investigations, or protection of users and the service
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or asset sale, subject to applicable law
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Quest uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for purposes such as authentication, session management, product preferences, gate access, security controls, connected-service authentication, and billing-related flows.
Depending on the features you use, third parties such as Stripe, Cloudflare Turnstile, Spotify, and Apple Music may also rely on their own cookies or tokens.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information, including access controls and vendor-managed infrastructure protections. Data may be encrypted in transit and at rest where provided by our systems and service providers.
Important: No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and this policy does not claim that all product communications are end-to-end encrypted.
6. Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal obligations, investigate abuse, maintain security, and handle billing or refund records.
- Account and profile data are generally retained while your account is active
- Messages, conversations, likes, matches, and related records may be deleted through account-deletion flows
- Billing, refund, tax, audit, or fraud-related records may be kept longer when required
- Some information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or legal-hold contexts even after deletion
Account tools: The current Quest account management flow supports data export and account deletion for signed-in users.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Access and update profile and account information
- Manage notification and connected-service settings
- Request a copy of your data
- Delete your account
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable law provides that right
8. International Users
If you use the service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where Quest or its service providers operate.
9. Children's Privacy
Quest is intended only for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18 years old.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in updated text and an updated last-modified date on this page.
