Published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Our commitment
Quest Social Discovery ("Quest") is an adults-only dating and social discovery platform. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards describe how we prevent, detect, respond to, and report CSAE-related harm on our service.
These standards supplement our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy.
1. Adults only (18+)
- Quest is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.
- We prohibit accounts, profiles, or content that sexualize, target, or involve minors in any way.
- We may request age or identity verification where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, or compliance.
- Accounts reasonably believed to belong to minors are removed and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
The following are strictly prohibited on Quest and result in immediate enforcement action, including permanent account termination and referral to law enforcement or relevant organizations where appropriate:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any visual depiction of minors in sexual contexts
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexualization of anyone under 18
- Sharing, requesting, or directing users to CSAE-related content on or off the platform
- Impersonation of minors or facilitation of contact between adults and minors through the service
- Any other conduct that exploits or endangers children
3. Prevention and detection
Quest uses a combination of product design, policy enforcement, and technical safeguards to reduce CSAE risk, including:
- 18+ eligibility requirements at signup and in our terms
- User reporting and blocking tools on profiles and in conversations
- Human review of safety reports and high-risk account activity
- Automated and AI-assisted moderation for policy violations, including content that may involve minors or CSAE
- Photo and profile quality standards designed to reduce misleading or harmful accounts
No system is perfect. Users should still use in-app reporting and contact us promptly when they see concerning behavior.
4. Reporting CSAE concerns
If you see content or behavior that may involve CSAE, CSAM, or minors on Quest:
- In the app: use Report and Block on the profile or conversation where available
- By email: support@lovequestdating.com with the subject line "Child safety report"
- Immediate danger: contact local emergency services first (for example, 911 in the United States)
Include relevant usernames, screenshots, dates, and a description of what you observed. Do not forward illegal imagery; describe the issue so our team can investigate.
5. Enforcement
When we identify or receive credible reports of CSAE or CSAM, we may:
- Remove content and suspend or permanently ban accounts
- Preserve relevant records as permitted by law
- Escalate to law enforcement and/or recognized reporting channels
- Cooperate with lawful requests from authorities
6. Cooperation with authorities and reporting organizations
Quest complies with applicable laws regarding child safety. Where required and appropriate, we report CSAM and related CSAE activity to relevant authorities and organizations, including reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States when applicable.
